A Complete Reading Program for Children with Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a problem with the brain's word-reading networks. Children with dyslexia have difficulty reading printed words.

Understanding Words® is a program which provides help for children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Ongoing research with colleagues at Griffith University has shown that Understanding Words® is a dyslexia treatment program which provides an effective and cost-effective method for improving reading and spelling skills. It can be used to treat dyslexia in schools where it can be administered by teacher assistants or by a parent who needs strategies and resources to help a child with dyslexia.
